DRIVER'S LICENCE
A full licence held for minimum of 1 years with no major endorsements. UK licence holders need to present the photocard. If your driver's licence is not in the Roman alphabet (i.e. if it is in Arabic, Greek, Cyrillic or Chinese) you are required to bring an International Driving Permit and your domestic licence. For driving licenses from countries not part of the international driving license treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license. When renting within the EU, customers who do not hold a driving licence issued by an EU/EEA country or Switzerland must also present an International Driving Permit along with their domestic licence.

Driver's age
25 to 99 years.
Young driver's age: 19 to 21 years. Charge 22 EUR per day. (Excludes tax)
Younger driver's age.: 22 to 24 years. Charge 11 EUR per day. (Excludes tax)
Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Cross Border rentals may only be taken into the following countries:
Vatican City, San Marino, France, Spain, Andorra, Gibraltar, Portugal, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, The Principality of Monaco, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia.
There is no charge for this however you must inform the supplier prior to pick up. They can be contacted on the following email address – info@locautorent.it.
Renter shall not use or drive the vehicle nor allow that someone else use or drive the vehicle in any country that is not listed above.
Please note insurance coverage may change if you travel to areas Campania and Puglia - please check with the car rental agent before you travel.
Please check with the rental provider in advance that the vehicle has the proper equipment in accordance with local traffic rules of the country or region you intend to travel to (e.g. Winter tyres).
